Drawing from Traditional Chinese confinement principles, every meal is thoughtfully prepared with warming, balanced ingredients chosen for their restorative qualities and prepared according to time-honoured methods.

This deposit secures your meal plan slot. After payment, our team will contact you within 2 business days to confirm your EDD and any special requests.
Once confirmed, 50% of the total value is due within 3 business days.
The final 50% is due 14 days before delivery.
*Late payments will result in order forfeiture. Please contact us immediately if any issues arise.

  • Two complete meals are delivered daily with 4 main items on each meals: Herbal confinement soup, main protein dish, vegetable side, and healthy grains. 

     

What is Confinement
(zuò yuè zi, “sitting the month”)?

In many Asian cultures, the first month after childbirth is lovingly known as “Confinement” (坐月子, zuò yuè zi — “sitting the month”). It’s a sacred time of rest, warmth, and nourishing food to help new mothers heal and feel renewed.

Childbirth leaves the body open and vulnerable, but also wonderfully receptive to deep restoration. We gently support you through the three important stages of postpartum recovery — each carefully designed to address your changing needs week by week.

The care and nourishment you receive during these precious 30 days can shape your health and wellbeing for years to come.

Stage 1: Release & Repair (清,催)

The first days after birth are all about gentle recovery. This stage focuses on clearing lochia, supporting uterine repair, and encouraging healthy milk flow.

 

Through warm, nourishing meals, we help your body gently return to balance and begin the healing process.

Stage 2: Regulate & Rebalance (调)

As your body stabilises, the focus gently shifts to harmonising digestion and improving nutrient absorption.

 

This stage helps replenish Qi and blood while restoring steady energy and vitality through balanced, nourishing meals.

Stage 3: Rebuild & Revitalise (补,养)

In the final stage, the focus turns to consolidating vitality for the long term. This phase deeply nourishes the liver and kidneys, improves circulation, and builds up your body’s reserves.

 

It supports complete renewal and helps lay the foundation for lasting strength and wellbeing.
